After an eye-catching victory in Rotherham last month, Suggy’s Gym pro boxer Chad Sugden will be back in the ring on Saturday 29 June.
In his second fight of the year, the Newark-based boxer will be fighting once again at the Magna Science Adventure Centre on the card of the 26RR Promotions show, when he will be going head-to-head with with another opponent with a winning record who will be coming to win.
“Almost two years after his fight in Newark in June 2022, Chad was back in action at the Magna Centre on Friday 12 April, when over 200 of his supporters were there to cheer him on to victory against Ondrej Budera, an opponent ranked number 7 in the Czech Republic,” said his father, Suggy’s Gym head coach Dean Sugden. “It was a class return to the ring, his timing was spot on and we’re definitely looking forward to more of the same next month!”
“It goes without saying that I was really happy to get a good comeback win against a tough, dangerous opponent,” said Chad. “As always the support from the Newark crowd was unreal and I’d love to see them all – and hopefully even a few more – back in Rotherham in five weeks’ time.
